Barbara par Pietragalla - Tournée

A VIBRANT TRIBUTE TO AN UNFORGETTABLE ARTIST. Marie-Claude Pietragalla, renowned dancer and choreographer, transforms herself on stage to embody the legendary singer Barbara.

In this masterful performance, she becomes the living reflection of the musical icon, transporting the audience into the poetic and melancholic world of the singer.

Through every movement, every gesture, and every expression, Pietragalla reveals the depth of emotions that marked Barbara's music. Her dance becomes a vibrant language, translating the artist's iconic lyrics and melodies.

Memories, joys, and sorrows materialise in every step, offering the audience a unique visual and emotional experience. « One October evening at the Châtelet. Unforgettable! An artist's dressing room… Her hand in mine, that wild, enigmatic presence. On stage, she flies, she soars.

From her piano to her rocking chair, she savours every moment, every breath, the silence of a hall that vibrates in unison. Her slender silhouette dressed in black, her walk like a ballerina on demi-pointe, she observes her audience, an audience already won over.

She breathes on stage hours before the curtain rises, she takes the pulse of a fantasised, loved, desired audience… The stage is her refuge where all boundaries vanish, black becomes light, time dislocates, the realities of life metamorphose in the chiaroscuro of the spotlights.

Barbara knows that detail sculpts difference, that entering the stage is a joy and a suffering, leaving it a wrench. But already, she must hit the road again for a new adventure, a new blank page to colour, the exhilaration of feeling alive.

The musical notes draw a score where sighs dance, where silences dance. Barbara pierced my soul with her whispers and transformed my daily life into poetry. » Marie-Claude Pietragalla
