Ciné-rencontre : Stolen Moments

The Franco-Italian jazz and cinema festival organised by the Notre Italie association pays tribute to Italian director Stefano Landini with the screening of his latest film "

A little gem about Jazz, Southern Italy, and much more… Stolen Moments tells the story of Sabino, a young man from Puglia with a passion for jazz, who travels to Turin with his friends to open a club in an old building once intended for families of emigrants from the South.

Amidst jazz, immigration, and the hope for a better life, Sabino gradually transforms a place of destitution into a space for culture and encounters — in a film that mischievously blurs the lines between reality and fiction.

Stolen Moments offers a sincere and original look at the challenge of turning a dream into reality, within a complex and often hostile socio-political context. A unique film, where the universal blends with the particular with great sensitivity.

A beautiful story to discover, presented here as part of a unique screening in France.
