Concert de Bourrasque

Concert co-produced with the Festival Occitania.

with Marthe Tourret violin, vocals, foot percussion – Elisa Trebouville banjo, electronics, vocals Here is a duo that crosses timbres, strings and languages like lines across a territory, connecting repertoires gathered between Quercy and the Massif Central.

Bourrasque is a story of relationship, musical and sensitive, with a complementarity and intensity unique to the duo.

If the two friends are brought together by their love of music rooted in popular cultures, it is a desire to encounter and understand music as a witness to a broader way of being in the world that brings them together for good.

From then on, they plow this furrow, creating a music whose substance is enriched by improvisation, the Occitan language, dance, the relationship to the inhabited territory and collective adventures.

This dynamic relationship provides fertile ground for a vast field of experimentation where banjo, violin and vocals bring forth flashes of these popular tunes to the rhythm of foot-tapping on the ground. Online ticketing on the Festival Occitania website in early September.
