Concert de Raphaël Feuillâtre

Considered the new global face of classical guitar, Raphaël Feuillâtre captivates audiences and critics alike with the depth of his interpretations, his dazzling virtuosity, and the richness of his repertoire.

First prize winner of the prestigious Guitar Foundation of America competition (USA – 2018) and ADAMI’s “Classical Revelation 2021”, Raphaël Feuillâtre was chosen as an exclusive artist by the Deutsche Grammophon label in 2022 and is, to this day, one of the very few guitarists to have joined this label.

This fruitful collaboration led to his first album, “Visages Baroques”, in 2023. Raphaël reveals different facets of the Baroque aesthetic with a programme centred on the figures of Bach and Rameau.

His second album, “Spanish Serenades”, presents masterpieces from the Spanish repertoire with works by Albéniz, Granados, Llobet, Rodrigo, and Tárrega.

It features one of Granados’s Danzas españolas with violinist María Dueñas, as well as Rodrigo’s mythical Concerto de Aranjuez recorded with the Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra conducted by Gábor Takács-Nagy.

After a remarkable debut at Carnegie Hall in New York in spring 2023, he performs in prestigious venues and festivals – such as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Verbier Festival, La Folle Journée de Nantes, the Edinburgh International Festival, or the Beethoven Haus in Bonn – as well as at major events in the guitar world like the Paris International Guitar Festival, the Guitarras del Mundo Festival in Argentina, and the Changsha International Guitar Festival in China.

In recent years, he has also performed as a soloist with the Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra, the Orchestre National de Metz, the Orchestre National d’Auvergne, Sinfonia Varsovia, the Santa Rosa Symphony, Gunma Symphony Orchestra, Divertimento,… His passion for chamber music and his desire to bring his instrument into these practices lead him to collaborate with first-rate musicians: recorder player Lucie Horsch, trumpeter Lucienne Renaudin Vary, or violinist Maria Dueñas at events such as Deutsche Grammophon’s Yellow Lounge, the Schle Festival
