Overview

Who was the famous Hélène, really? A blameless queen… or a heroine ready to shake an entire kingdom to its foundations? In this concert-éveil, young and old alike discover Offenbach's La Belle Hélène, a sparkling operetta in which kings and heroes sometimes lose all their solemnity! Hélène is bored in Sparta, Pâris arrives with his irresistible charm, Ménélas tries to keep up appearances… but very quickly everything spirals into a succession of situations as funny as they are unexpected. Through the best-known arias, children will understand how music brings characters to life, highlights exaggerations and accompanies the twists of the story. A lively and playful way into the world of operetta, and a discovery that a myth can also become a comedy full of surprises. Recommended from 4 years old.
