Overview
Gypsy jazz concert by guitarist Tchavolo Schmitt at Aux Petits Joueurs.
Tchavolo Schmitt is an Alsatian Gypsy jazz guitarist who has developed virtuosity in this style over the years and participated in several projects, such as the films Latcho Drom (1992) and Swing (2002), both by Tony Gatlif.
In 2008, he recorded Live in Paris, captured during a concert at the Alhambra (Paris).
" Considered one of Django Reinhardt's heirs, whom he says he venerates too much to accept direct lineage, he pursues a national and international career marked by numerous collaborations, such as those with guitarist Bireli Lagrène.
