Concert Unis'Sons

Faced with the fires that have hit Le Porge, our neighbouring town hard, destroying 183 houses and upending many lives, the solidarity of the Town of Lacanau is not wavering. It is therefore organising the Concert Uni’sons on 14 November from 7.30pm at the L’Escoure hall in Lacanau Océan. All proceeds from the evening will be donated in full to the CCAS of the Town of Le Porge to support residents affected by the fires. To bring this event to life, artists, residents, associations and local players are rallying with generosity. Each contributes on a voluntary basis: artists and technicians, accommodation offered by the Hôtel de la Côte d’Argent, drinks provided free of charge by La Canaulaise, cheese platters and desserts offered to the artists by La Croute, equipment and backline provided… A genuine chain of solidarity has formed around this evening.

We also wanted to give this concert a very special dimension by bringing together artists who have already made their mark on the Lacanau scene, such as Les Innocents, represented by JP Nataf, or Sanseverino, but also local artists, among them Washington Dead Cats, whose singer lives in Lacanau, and Lightnin’ G-Bird, our local bluesman.

An evening to come together, listen to music, share and have fun, but above all to keep solidarity alive and, together, offer concrete support to the people of Le Porge. Come in large numbers: every presence counts. Because together, music can also be an act of solidarity.
