Overview
A talk for the general public that sheds light on the legacy of the French pianist, composer and music educator.
"La formation musicale" replaced solfège in 1976. Where do things stand fifty years later? What is the legacy of Odette Gartenlaub's pedagogical and musical work, the person behind this major reform?
Jean-Michel Ferran and the members of the Association des amis d'Odette Gartenlaub invite you to a historical overview and an assessment of the current situation, followed by a debate on the educational issues at stake in this fundamental subject in music learning, which is Formation Musicale.
