« Cosmogonia » : une expérience immersive de Yom

What happens when music is no longer presented as a concert, but as an experience to be journeyed through? When it is no longer just listened to, but inhabited?

With Cosmogonia, Yom offers an immersive performance on the border of concert, installation, and ritual. Conceived as a physical and mental journey, this solo creation invites the audience to enter a sensitive space where sound becomes matter, breath, vibration. The fruit of fifteen years of research and a long-term technical obsession, Cosmogonia marks a turning point in Yom's career. Alone on stage, without any additional instruments, he takes on a dizzying challenge: to create an uninterrupted flow of notes from his clarinet alone. Thanks to continuous breathing, the rapid execution of arpeggios, and work on sound spatialisation and effects pedals activated live by the artist, phantom chords appear, sometimes giving the impression that he is not alone on stage. Here, it is not about following a narrative, but about letting oneself be traversed by states, intensities, and shifting soundscapes. Sound circulates between bodies, transforms the perception of time, and opens up a rare, almost meditative listening space. Far from a frontal spectacle, Cosmogonia proposes another way of being together: more intimate, more attentive, more sensory. An immersive and beneficial experience, conceived as a moment of collective musical meditation. A companion artist of the Théâtre de la Concorde since the 2025-2026 season, Yom unveils his first solo here, created after a residency at the theatre. A radical artistic gesture, driven by absolute confidence in the possibilities of his instrument and in the power of sound as a sensory experience. This intimate form will be presented at Studio Cardin in October, before an expanded version in the Joséphine Baker hall in November, as part of our theme dedicated to trust.
