Six works offering a sensitive testimony to the situation in Ukraine. Without bias, save for a preference for aesthetics.

Through the lens of Aosten, the hulls of ships moored at the port of Lorient become a mirror of tragic current events. Without retouching or staging, the impacts against the quays, the peeling paint and the shards of metal form abstract landscapes, faces and scars that echo the tragedy of the conflict in Ukraine. The shades of blue and yellow, embedded in the very material, bear witness with restraint and force to the fragility of territories and to human resilience.
