Overview
Book signing with illustrator Léna Walrus and scriptwriter PoPésie to mark the release of the comic book "La canne de Balzac" from Dargaud.
Did you know that Balzac's walking cane was almost as famous as the writer himself? It so captivated the salons that the woman of letters Delphine de Girardin wrote a short story about it in 1836: "La canne de M. de Balzac".
The scriptwriter PoPésie and the illustrator Lena Walrus are adapting this short novel into a comic book. It follows Tancrède, a young man whose misfortune is being spectacularly handsome!
Rejected everywhere, Honoré de Balzac comes to his aid by lending him his cane, which has a very particular power: that of making its holder invisible. PoPésie and Léna Walrus will be present for a book signing at the museum's reception desk.
