Delphine Bougard - Balance ton Olympe

A passionate and slightly quirky lecturer invites you to explore the origins of sexism and harassment in women's lives.

After a brief presentation of her professional background, she will analyse the history and condition of women in ancient Greece in order to bring them into resonance with current events. She will shed an unconventional light on our everyday lives and on the status of women.

In the second part of the lecture, drawing on several mythological legends, she will denounce the highly controversial seduction methods of the King of the Gods of Olympus, Zeus, the first harasser in humanity.

This lecturer will unravel four legends: Leda, Europa, Danaë and Callisto, and will shed light on the fate of the victims. She will not forget to recount the fate of Zeus's many wives.
