Overview
It's an invitation extended to the whole world! Spectators are invited to a mysterious evening at Denise Jardinière's house, but they know nothing about their host. A strange housekeeper welcomes the guests, but nothing goes as planned: as the mistress of the house's arrival is imminent, Madame's beloved son is struck by serious insomnia. She then tells him an enigmatic tale: "The Legend of Paul, the Lonely Prince"... The adventures then unfold until the final revelation where everyone will finally understand the reasons for this mysterious invitation.
Did you know? Thibaut Boidin created this show in January 2012, at home, in his own Parisian apartment. That's where he gave the first performances. Word of mouth was such that he moved the show to various increasingly large theatres, eventually playing at Bobino in June 2017. After 298 performances, "Denise Jardinière vous invite chez elle" received the award for best show at the Avignon Off Festival 2019. (Editor's Choice Award from "Avignon à L'unisson").
