Dick Annegarn – Chansons Agricoles

50 years of naturalist poetry. Who in France has written so many songs to honour the earth? “Sacré géranium”, “Bébé éléphant”, “Mireille”, “Vélo va”, “L’Orage”, “Quelle Belle Vallée” Dick Annegarn doesn't just sing “Bruxelles”.

The singer-songwriter has long lived on a farm at the foot of the Pyrenees. A Dutch and French-speaking agronomy student, he has made simple and moving songs bloom in people's minds. Nature is both a concern and a joy.

An accomplished guitarist, the composer has been performed by many contemporary celebrities: -M-, Calogéro, Raphaël, Nolwenn Leroy, Bashung, Souchon, Arno, Bénabar, Dany Boon and their children. Thus perpetuating this poetic and popular heritage.

Spectators are invited to bring plants, shrubs or flowers to furnish and decorate the stage. At the end of the poetic show, they will take their greenery home. Thus lending a hand to the installation.

The musician even had a green guitar custom-made by one of the country's best luthiers, Thomas Fejoz. Harmonica, percussion and some a cappella songs illustrate the variety and diversity of his art. Music is the wind between the trees.
