Entrez dans la littérature persane

Iris Farkhondeh opens the doors of her ideal library to you! A selection of works she has put together herself will give you a taste for Persian literature and a desire to discover a country through its letters.

Iris Farkhondeh holds a doctorate in Indian studies from the Université Paris III Sorbonne Nouvelle. She is a Persian speaker and curated an exhibition of press cartoons by Mana Neyestani and Kianoush Ramezani on the "Woman, Life, Freedom" revolution.

Across ages and eras, she will introduce you, over the course of one evening, to classical and more contemporary authors.

The evening is an opportunity to touch on the main milestones of Iranian literary history, but also to speak more personally about our relationship with works, with our mother tongue, and about what they convey of a country's history, beyond exile.

The great names of Persian literature will soon hold no secrets for you!
