Overview
Photographic investigation
Following fifteen years of research alongside agricultural stakeholders, Sylvain Gouraud presents La nature des équilibres as both an exhibition and a lecture-performance.
Photographs, testimonies and narratives make up a sensitive immersion into landscapes shaped by farming practices.
Through this long-term body of work, the artist questions our relationship with the land, traditional farming know-how and transformations in the living world, revealing the tensions between technical progress, labor and fragile equilibria.
