Overview
For the first stop on its tour, the exhibition "Architecture Contemporaine Remarquable, un siècle d'architecture en France" is being hosted at the Maison de l’architecture et de la ville PACA. Produced for the Bicentenary of Photography by the Réseau des Maisons de l’Architecture in close collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, the exhibition features 66 photographs from a national photographic campaign, representing 35 iconic architectural projects across France. During its presentation in Marseille, the exhibition will also be enhanced by the screening of the "Destination" collection by Image de ville, featuring a complementary selection of buildings from the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. This exhibition invites the public to discover a 20th- and 21st-century heritage that shapes our daily lives, yet often remains little known to the general public. Designed as a travelling exhibition, it will tour Maisons de l’Architecture across the country between September 2026 and September 2027.
