BIOMES BICÉPHALES is an exhibition that invites visitors to let themselves be affected.

Elise Bergonzi and Eugénie Faurie have jointly imagined a parallel universe where their individual singularities shift towards one another to bring forth a new form: a two-headed identity, born at the crossroads of their two approaches.

A chimera where the boundaries between their practices gradually become indistinguishable. Elise Bergonzi and Eugénie Faurie explore our ways of inhabiting spaces, aqueous ecosystems and submerged futures, drifting towards fabulated territories.

They take an interest in living forms, their metamorphoses and the transformative forces running through them, moving between magic, ritual and wonder. Their practices meet around mutation, alchemy and a shared taste for ornamental flair.

Between the two of them, a space of symbiosis and care is constructed. They experiment with a hybrid aesthetic where nothing seeks to stay in its place. Ornamentation becomes a shared space of research where forms change state.

It is not a matter of adding two practices together, but of seeing what emerges when they transform upon contact with one another. Exhibition on view from 8 to 25 October 2026, Thursday to Sunday from 2 pm to 7 pm. Exhibition opening on Thursday 8 October 2026 at 6:30 pm.
