Exposition "Couleurs Terrestres"

“Couleurs terrestres” explores the reuse and transformation of materials through the works of seven artists, bridging recovery, repurposing, sculpture, painting, and material

What if what we consider waste could become material for creation? From 13 October to 11 December 2026, Ateliers 38 are hosting the exhibition "Couleurs terrestres" (Earth Colours), an invitation to take a fresh look at the objects and materials that surround us.

Worn objects, recovered fragments, textiles, metal, neglected materials, or even plant-based inks become the mediums for artistic experimentation and creation.

Through recycling, upcycling, object diversion, assemblage, sculpture, painting, calligraphy, and working with natural materials, the artists explore the possibilities offered by reuse and transformation.

The exhibition brings together the worlds of Yannick Beslot, Jérémy Gobé, Denis Rieu, the collective L’Insoleuse, Lucie Bayens, Véronique Ivanovic, and Cie La Naine Rouge.

Diverse artistic practices that question our relationship with objects, matter, and what is usually discarded. An object destined to be thrown away has not necessarily reached the end of its story.

Transformed, repurposed, assembled, or simply looked at differently, it can become the starting point for a new creation. Opening on Tuesday 13 October at 6 pm, in the presence of the artists. Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
