Exposition Couloirs irréguliers

An engaged artistic exhibition focusing on migratory journeys, exile, and human dignity, through a pictorial series.

For several years, my artistic work has questioned the major issues facing our society. Couloirs irréguliers is a series dedicated to the human realities of migration.

At a time when Europe is confronted with crucial choices concerning the reception and integration of migrants, I seek to make visible the individual stories that too often disappear behind statistics and political discourse.

My work explores violence, despair, and fear, but also the strength, courage, and hope of those who flee war, poverty, or climate change. For many, the choice comes down to living through horror or fleeing it.

Thus begins an uncertain and perilous journey, despite a shared hope: to live with dignity and build a better future.

The exhibition's journey symbolically evokes this crossing: the reasons for departure, fear, borders, the dangers of the journey, waiting, arrival, but also rejection, solidarity, and hope.

By representing faceless bodies, I seek to reveal their anonymity and give a presence to those who are not seen.

My artistic commitment has also extended to the field as a volunteer with Utopia 56, particularly through the distribution of meals and the sheltering of migrant families.

The volunteers and migrants I met have deeply nourished my reflection, transformed my perspective, and evolved this series. Couloirs irréguliers therefore seeks not only to represent exile but to invite the public to take a more human look at those who experience it.
