Exposition : Le Corset par Louis Clichy

We invite you to discover the original drawings from the animated film Le Corset by Louis Clichy, at 24 rue de Lappe, Wednesday to Saturday, 11am to 7pm.

We are delighted to invite you to our forthcoming exhibition devoted to the original drawings from the animated film Le Corset by the artist Louis Clichy, from 1 October to 18 October 2026, in our Paris gallery.

“On a farm in the heart of the Beauce, Christophe, 11, follows in his father’s footsteps. But at school, at home, on the tractor, Christophe leans… and falls. He is forced to wear a corset to stand up straight.

While the farm goes through difficult times, Christophe grows up as best he can. ” Le Corset is a personal story that traces the journey of Christophe, a young man from the Beauce who is required to wear a corset from CM2 onwards.

Through his story, his encounters and his village, the film draws an intimate narrative, carried by remarkable work in ink and watercolour. The film is released in cinemas on 14 October.

It has already been acclaimed at the world’s major festivals and has received several awards in 2026: Special Jury Prize, Un Certain Regard, Festival de Cannes 2026; Audience Award, Festival international du film d’animation d’Annecy 2026; Jury Prize, Festival international du film d’animation d’Annecy 2026; Fondation Gan Prize for Distribution, Festival international du film d’animation d’Annecy 2026.

com/distribution/le-corset-film/ The artist Born in 1979 and originally from the Beauce, Louis Clichy trained in animation at the École des Gobelins. He began his career as an animator at Pixar on Wall-E (2008) and Up (2009).

He then co-directed Asterix: The Mansions of the Gods (2014) and Asterix: The Secret of the Magic Potion (2018) with Alexandre AstierAstérix. Le Corset is his first personal feature film as a director.
