L'Association du Musée Hospitalier Régional de Lille invites you to discover the exhibition "Les grandes figures médicales lilloises et des Hauts-de-France" on display until 31 December 2026 at the memorial site of Hermitage Gantois in Lille.
Doctors, surgeons, pharmacists, biologists and researchers: these figures have contributed to the renown of regional medicine through their discoveries, their commitment to training or the creation of institutions and hospital establishments.
Some were members of the National Academy of Medicine or Surgery. Through their biographies and achievements, set out to meet those who have left a lasting mark on the history of medicine in Lille and the region.
This exhibition is part of the "Célèbres ou Méconnues, Les Grandes Figures des Hauts-de-France et territoires limitrophes" initiative led by the Proscitec Patrimoines et Mémoires des Métiers network. Venue: Hermitage Gantois (Lieu de mémoire), 224 rue Pierre Mauroy, Lille.
Date: until 31 December 2026. Self-guided tour of the exhibition on Tuesdays from 2 pm to 5 pm.
