Overview

From September 5 to November 29, 2026 at the Colysée de Lambersart

How do landscapes evolve? For better or for worse? Are changes desirable or endured? What is altering our environment today?

Spearheaded by L’Atelier 2 - Arts Plastiques, the Colysée de Lambersart and 5 other venues across the Eurométropole have united around the theme of "Paysages in transition" to present several exhibitions during the 2025–2026 season.

The thirteen artists selected at the Colysée present a great diversity of viewpoints as well as practices, making this exhibition a contemporary panorama full of depth and surprises, blending testimonies of urban movement and climate upheavals, resilience, utopia, and mental landscape.

The featured artists are Aurélien Bonnetaud, Félicien Bonniot, Matthieu Brard, Marion Chombart de Lauwe, Esther Bouhadana and Alix Le Boucher from Collectif Mercure, Eléna Denis, Laurane Desjonquères, Cassandre Fournet, Aimeric Gautherin, El Mehdi Largo, Sohyun Park, and Mathilde Seguin.

Alongside the exhibition, it was decided to work with two classes from the A. Samain and L. de Bettignies elementary schools on observing plant growth and the environment surrounding the schools.

The children were accompanied by artist Belinda Annaloro to create all kinds of artistic, botanical, and poetic works between April and June.

The output of the research by these young Lambersart landscape artists is presented on the ground floor, which also features an overview of ongoing urban changes in the town. And as usual, alongside the exhibition, workshops, guided tours, and activities are offered.

An exhibition supported by the MEL Cultural Factories network. FULL PROGRAMME
