Festival International Toulouse Les Orgues

For three decades the Toulouse Les Orgues International Festival has celebrated a rich, varied and precious heritage, making it shine across France and drawing organists from around the world with its exceptional instrument collection. The Festival makes Toulouse the centre of the world for lovers of the organ for around ten days!

The Festival constantly reinvents itself: uniting enthusiasts while attracting new audiences, building bridges between the centuries-old repertoire of an instrument that seems fixed and almost sanctified, and contemporary, even experimental, music. The organ is undeniably an instrument of sonic experimentation, a synthesiser before its time, and a conveyor of emotion.

A twelve-day journey through classical, baroque, symphonic, Occitan, meditative and modern aesthetics and elegances, pairing organists with other musicians and combining several stars alongside artists with a promising future. A programme imagined and tailored down to the last detail, with one aim: to make the magnificent vaults that house the organs resonate in October, as much as the hearts of festival-goers!
