AS PART OF THE 30TH EDITION OF THE VILLES DES MUSIQUES DU MONDE FESTIVAL
Highly anticipated in Paris, Cabaraï offers us a premiere with the legendary dancer Esraa Warda, specially invited from New York, to close the Raï season. Cabaraï was born in Marseille from the desire of queer individuals from North African diasporas to create inclusive and safe festive spaces. Cabaraï embodies the festive and transgressive spirit of Algerian cabaret, where artists and audience can feel free to be, to dance, and to express all their emotions. On the programme: a blind test, performances and a drag show with Lalla Aïcha hosting the evening, dancer Shanese, Esraa Warda performing to live music, DJ sets by La Louuve and Mystique… This event is organised as the closing of the Raï Season, with the support of the Institut français and the Conseil Départemental de la Seine-Saint-Denis.
