Major figure of international jazz, Glenn Ferris takes his place at the Club for a bimonthly appointment with his "Newtet", an electric quartet with raw energy and multiple influences.

Known for his expressive playing and ability to transcend genres, Glenn Ferris – who has collaborated with giants such as Frank Zappa, Stevie Wonder, Billy Cobham, and Archie Shepp – surrounds himself here with three exceptional musicians for a resolutely contemporary musical adventure.

On electric bass, Bruno Rousselet, mainstay of the French jazz scene, combines groove, precision and rare musicality. On guitar, Mike Felberbaum, recognized for his keen harmonic sense and inspired improvisations, brings rock energy and searing modernity.

Finally, on drums, the powerful and subtle Jeff Boudreaux, native of New Orleans, makes the roots of Afro-American groove resonate through every strike.

The "Newtet" repertoire blends original compositions and bold reinterpretations of Ray Charles, Bob Marley, Gino Vannelli and other iconic figures.

All of this weaves a unique sonic patchwork, at the crossroads of jazz, blues, eclectic rock, reggae, Afro-beat, and Caribbean grooves. A rare concert, an intense and jubilant musical journey, carried by four artists at the top of their craft.
