Gildaa, Tournée

At once extravagant and endearing, this all-round artist moves audiences with every stage appearance. Part tragic diva, part mystic clown, French-Brazilian Gildaa sweeps us into an unusual show blending theatre, performance and music.

A violinist, percussionist and gifted tinkerer, this singer — by turns exuberant and fragile — traces the story of a woman searching for her memory.

Whether singing in French or Portuguese, this artist, who seems to belong to another time, captivates us with her humour and her gentle madness. Pop, samba and Yoruba chant blend into her shape-shifting voice to weave the fabric of her stage experiments.

Her concerts are genuine ceremonies, tying her to her roots and grabbing the audience by the gut. An unforgettable artistic gut-punch!
