Overview
Théâtre Espace Marais presents Greatest Hits: the 100% improvised musical show, a participatory performance featuring Jen Petit, Simone de Comptoir, Anna Frange, Bambou Morrison and Thomas Pontoizeau.
This show belongs to the genre of musical improvisation and comedy. On stage, the company takes up suggestions from the audience to compose songs, choruses and sketches live, with no pre-written script and no fixed score. Each performance thus takes shape in the moment, mixing sung numbers, direct interaction with the room and spontaneous humour.
The audience settles into the intimate space of the Théâtre Espace Marais to watch this ephemeral creation. The staging rests entirely on the complicity between the performers and the responsiveness of the actors and musicians to the unexpected proposals of the audience. This proposition is aimed at lovers of live theatre who appreciate spontaneity, the playful subversion of the codes of popular song and the art of instant composition.
