JOSEPH MARTONE x IMPOSTOR COSTUME

Back with a new album titled « Endeavours  », Italian-American Joseph Martone reminds us of his universe, with sounds reminiscent of Nick Cave and Calexico under the cinematic influence of Ennio Morricone, first discovered through his 2020 album « Honey Birds  ». Recorded in Italy, at the Auditorium Novecento in Naples and the Al Mare studio in Ravenna, with the participation of renowned musicians (Fabio Rondanini from Calibro 35 on drums and Francesco Giampaoli on bass, already active in the bands Hugo Race Fatalists and Sacri Cuori), as well as at Studio Cimetière in Quebec, Canada, this album brings together Joseph Martone and his long-time friend and collaborator, Ned Crowther (The Fernweh, Smokey Angle Shades), for the writing of these new compositions. This second album also benefits from the meticulous production of Mike Dubue and Taylor Kirk, from the Canadian folk-blues band Timber Timbre, as well as the captivating voices of Rebecca Noelley and Marianna d'Ama.

IMPOSTOR COSTUME

Every ten years, Geoffrey Hautvas becomes someone else. First, 10 years as a solitary cowboy under the name The Dallas Explosion (2 albums and an EP, European support for Willy Deville, Monster Magnet and many others). This was followed by the Electric Château adventure in London, then back home to Brussels. As a fallen king, Geoffrey leads his power trio, trading raw aggression for velvety irony, mocking money and blue blood.
