Overview
Presented by La Comédie d'Aix. Acclaimed by audiences and critics, this comedy was awarded the “coup de coeur” at the Palmarès du Théâtre 2013 in the Secteur Privé category.
Alone in his Parisian apartment, Monsieur Henri categorically refuses any move into a retirement home, and his health worries his son Paul. The grumbling old man finally agrees to rent a room in his apartment to a student.
Constance, a young woman full of freshness and enthusiasm, moves in.
Far from falling under her spell, Henri uses Constance to create a genuine family chaos, the full consequences of which he had never imagined… A sharp comedy about family interference, the weight of inherited traits to bear, and the difficulty of reconciling life's grand dreams with the small arrangements everyone makes with their conscience… Whether at 20, 40 or nearly 80!
