Seul dans son appartement parisien, Monsieur Henri refusant catégoriquement tout placement en maison de retraite, sa santé inquiétant son fils Paul; l’homme bougonnant finit par accepter de louer une chambre de son appartement à une étudiante.
Constance, demoiselle plein de fraîcheur et d’enthousiasme, emménage chez lui.
Loin de tomber sous le charme, Henri va se servir de Constance pour créer un véritable chaos familial dont il était loin d’avoir prévu toutes les conséquences… Une comédie décapante sur les ingérences familiales, les hérédités lourdes à assumer et la difficulté de concilier les grands rêves d’une vie avec les petits arrangements quotidiens que chacun fait avec sa conscience… Que ce soit à 20 ans, 40 ans ou presque 80!
