Overview
Presented by Le Théâtre de l'épée de bois
In Brittany, in the Faouët region, a young woman rose up against poverty and oppression. She will no longer hold out her hand to the rich, but will instead rob them. At the dawn of the French Revolution, old Mahé and his friends tell and act out the story of their friend, sharing the fabulous adventures of a legendary, insolent and libertarian female brigand. A heroic comedy in 1 prologue, 12 scenes, 2 epilogues and far too many characters, written almost entirely in alexandrines and questioning our capacity to disobey.
