La Lumière à Tous les Etages

Presented by Le Théâtre La Maison de Guignol. Welcome to Éden’s big show.

A successful spiritual influencer, Instagram guru and seller of inner light, Éden welcomes the audience for his grand talk-show: dimmed lights, meditative music, incense, inspirational phrases and perfectly polished storytelling.

Tonight, he promises to heal your wounds, silence your mind, attract abundance, awaken your inner light and become — obviously — the best version of yourself. In short: change your life in 1 hour 20 minutes, handling fees not included. Everything is ready. The audience breathes.

Éden beams. The universe is aligned. But in the middle of the room, a woman stands up. Sarah. She was one of his very first clients. She followed him everywhere. She believed everything.

And she bought everything: the sessions, the workshops, the audio recordings, the gratitude journal, the “rebirth” retreat, the private consultations at 380 quid a pop, the personalised mantras and the promises of inner transformation paid in instalments. She followed.

She believed. She paid. A lot. Too much. And today, Sarah is back. Not to ask a question. For cosmic revenge. Called upon as witnesses, the audience watches live as a perfectly calibrated show collapses.

Between fierce comedy, modern-day manipulation and a vibrational reckoning, La Lumière à Tous les Étages asks, with humour, why we need to believe, why we want to be saved, and who has worked out exactly how to charge for it. Who manipulated whom? Who needed to believe?

And can you really claim a refund for a miracle that never happened? He wanted to light your inner fire. She’s come to light the fuse.
