Lancement et dédicace de « Sous mon aile » de Laura Giraud

Sous mon aile is a magnificent book, a truly magnificent book. Nothing less would do to welcome these five life-sized bird silhouettes.

Set against a blue background resembling a paper sky, these birds come to life. Starting with the largest (the harrier) and moving down to the smallest (the tit), each finds its place, looking after one another, from the strongest to the most fragile.

Then, from the smallest to the largest, each bird leaves its egg, becomes independent, spreads its wings and takes flight. Sous mon aile celebrates essential values: transmission, sharing, kindness, generosity and empathy.

A poetic tribute – a parent addressing their child, who will one day also fly with their own wings – and a committed book that speaks of the invisible bond connecting us to nature.

The flaps feature a short documentary text about our 5 birds: the harrier, the tawny owl, the swift, the swallow and the tit.
