Overview
Francis Weber's cult play: A fierce, moving and funny face-to-face! Every Wednesday, Pierre Brochant and his friends organise an idiot's dinner. The principle is simple: each participant brings along an "idiot", and the one whose guest stands out the most is declared the winner.
Tonight Pierre is happy, he thinks he has found the rare gem: François Pignon, an accountant at the Ministry of Finance, passionate about matchstick models.
But what he doesn't know is that Pignon, ready to do anything to be helpful, is a hopeless jinx who has mastered the art of triggering disasters.... The encounter between two destinies that should never have crossed.... Did you know?
From its creation in 1993, Francis Veber's play "Le dîner de cons" met with immense success, and was adapted for the cinema in 1998 by the same author to achieve worldwide success.
