Le monde à l'envers

Le monde à l'envers offers a screening accompanied by an original musical creation, blending cinema and live performance.

This cine-concert pairs the screening of a film with a musical performance executed live on stage by the project's artists. The concept is based on a real-time dialogue between image and soundtrack, with each visual sequence underlined or counterpointed by arrangements played in front of the audience. This format highlights the materiality of film music, conceived here to exist within the space of the venue rather than merely as the background to a traditional narrative.

On stage, the ensemble sets up an acoustic and visual setup adapted to the dimensions of the host venue. The set strives to recreate the meticulousness of the composition work live, creating an attentive listening experience where the spectator's attention is shared between the screen and the musicians. This proposition is aimed at fans of audiovisual curiosities, hybrid forms, and contemporary instrumental music.

Cinéma Le Caméo is hosting this performance in its hall dedicated to shows and screenings. The space allows for direct proximity between the stage and the audience, fostering immersion in this artistic proposition that breaks down boundaries between dramatic art and concert.
