Overview
In 1872, the very British Philéas Fogg makes a crazy wager: to travel around the world in 80 days.
Once the moment of departure has been meticulously noted, this man, obsessed with the passing of time, sets off with his housemaid, Madame Passepartout, on a true race against the clock to meet the challenge.
But this hasty departure makes Fogg the ideal suspect in the recent robbery of the Bank of England… Around the World in 80 Days is a wacky odyssey featuring an Indian princess from Allahabad, an opium-smoking Chinese man from Hong Kong, a loser cowboy from San Francisco and the most useless police inspector in London.
It is a deliriously fast crossing of four continents and all the oceans of the world. It is six completely crazy actors and, above all, a comedy with 80 fits of laughter.
With: Rachel MAROIS, Mireille JOFFRE, Gwen BANCAREL, Charlotte LALARME, Laure HENRY, Dominique FERRE, Mathilde PUGET, Vincent BECHON, Claude EYMARD. Directed by: Mathilde PUGET
