Don't miss the chance to be part of this heartfelt tribute to an artist who marked generations, on the eve of the 40th anniversary of his death.

Daniel Balavoine, an iconic and emblematic figure of French song, with his committed lyrics, left his mark on the 1970s and 1980s with unforgettable songs such as L'Aziza, Le Chanteur, Tous les cris, les SOS and Mon fils, ma bataille.

Brought to the wider public's attention by Michel Berger, who offered him the role of Johnny Rockfort in the musical Starmania, he sports a rock-punk look for the occasion and sings flawlessly the two songs that would make him famous: Quand on arrive en ville and SOS d'un terrien en détresse.

Audiences then discovered an exceptional artist, whose unique style, blending rock, variety and pop influences, would inspire a whole generation.

Daniel Balavoine, also a passionate advocate of the causes close to his heart (notably education and the fight against poverty), tackled and defended social and humanitarian themes with real passion throughout his career, which was tragically cut short in 1986 in a helicopter crash.

Nevertheless, his musical legacy remains timeless, continuing to inspire many artists and fans around the world and reaching entire generations through its depth and authenticity.
