He leaves the plains of the Far North, cursed by a mermaid he caught by accident. He escapes on roller skates, by scooter and in a cardboard aeroplane. He discovers Scotland, sets off south again on a mule, murders a few bagpipers along the way and searches for love, always.

But the actor in a three-piece suit stays seated, and that is the madness of the show. His sidekick in a swimsuit bustles around him with hundreds of pieces of cardboard bearing the names of the countries, props or creatures they encounter.
