Love, Linda - La Vie de Mrs Cole Porter

The wild life of the legendary American musical theatre composer Cole Porter, as told by Linda, his wife and muse. Openly gay, he lived with her for thirty-five years in an extraordinary relationship of love and companionship. In this portrait of a brilliant, exquisite and sophisticated woman, a free spirit, Cole Porter's immortal songs form the thread of a fascinating story, celebrating the light and shadows of a relationship that defies every convention. Isabelle Georges, accompanied by a jazz trio, plays a heartbreaking Linda and lends her otherworldly voice to the universe of the prince of songwriters, author of more than 800 songs for Marilyn, Fred Astaire or Frank Sinatra. A refined adaptation of an off-Broadway triumph, in a setting chiselled by Tristan Petitgirard.
