'Stand-up comedy revelation in Montreal in… 1992… long before it became fashionable, Manuel Pratt delivers a new opus packed with humour and absolutely no censorship. This humanity, he cannot help but love it, and that is why he criticises it, spotting its failings, its prejudices and its pettiness. Of course, everyday life… married life, but above all with a real sense of self-deprecation, he lays bare with healthy frankness why the world really doesn't go round properly. He is no preacher, far from it; he is as guilty as all of us… He is simply a visionary of the kind we hardly hear anymore, because the raw truth, when it is delivered with frankness and without detours, disturbs… Pratt will never appear on TF1 or CNews, and all the better, because even if he were invited, he would not go.'
