Marie Benoliel - Daisy en Tournée

Overview
Get out your sequined dresses, your patent leather shoes, your Italian suits, prepare your ululations, your handkerchiefs, revise your belly dance… Together we travel to a world where Jews, Muslims, Christians and all who wish to, come together hand in hand to celebrate their fraternity.
Together we relive the Tunisia of the 1960s, a paradise of freedom and tolerance, this paradise that my grandmother Daisy left overnight, without ever explaining how or why.
“Daisy” is a film, a show, an intimate, musical and joyful investigation into exile and uprooting, into family and its unspoken truths, into the weight that inherited silences leave within us. So bring the most beautiful photo of your grandmother, because this evening is for her.
For her memory, for her silences, for that very special bond. For Daisy. For your Grandmother.
