7 PM DOORS 7:30 PM ACTION 10:30 PM (at the latest) end of EVERYTHING Programming LE NON_JAZZ PAULA SANCHEZ At the crossroads of experimental music, free improvisation, and performance, Paula Sanchez's work revolves around the composition/decomposition and destruction/reconstruction of a constantly shifting sound space.

With a resolutely interdisciplinary profile, she first asserted her approach as a performer and composer in the fields of theatre and performance, notably within the experimental scenic collective Ob-caenum — a significant figure in the province of San Juan, Argentina, where she received her musical training at the National University.

She subsequently obtained two master's degrees: one in improvisation from the Musik-Akademie in Basel and another in contemporary artistic practices (specialising in sound art) from the Bern University of the Arts, Switzerland.

Since 2018, Paula has been active on the European contemporary and improvised music scene, participating in numerous concerts.

She distinguishes herself by the use of extended techniques and unconventional playing modes, working with materials such as plastic, glass, and natural elements, which she combines with voice and electronics.

Her work embodies the pure presence of an embodied sound, which invents its own relationships as it makes its way towards nothingness.
