Michael Schenker Group ft Robin McAuley + Guests

In association with Music For Ever Production

Michael Schenker is a legendary figure of rock, regarded as one of the most gifted and influential guitarists of all time. Instantly recognisable, both for his precise, melodic playing and for his iconic use of the Gibson Flying V, he has left a lasting mark on the history of hard rock. His work with Scorpions, UFO and the Michael Schenker Group has made him a true icon, inspiring generations of musicians, among them Steve Harris, Kirk Hammett and Slash. A founding member of Scorpions alongside his brother Rudolf Schenker, he revealed his talent very early on the album Lonesome Crow. In 1973 he joined UFO, with whom he enjoyed a golden period between 1974 and 1978, often referred to as the "Schenker era".

During this period he took part in cult albums such as Phenomenon and Lights Out, as well as the legendary live album Strangers in the Night, still regarded today as an absolute reference. He is also co-writer of timeless classics such as Doctor Doctor, Rock Bottom and Only You Can Rock Me. He left UFO in early 1979, just before the release of Strangers in the Night, then briefly rejoined Scorpions, contributing to the album Lovedrive, often considered one of the band's masterpieces. Tracks such as Another Piece of Meat, Coast to Coast and Holiday bear witness to his decisive influence. In 1979 he finally founded the Michael Schenker Group (MSG), marking a major new chapter in his career.

After a period marked by ups and downs in his career, Michael made his comeback in 2010 with the 30th Anniversary Tour. That same year he also released the live album 30th Anniversary – Shepperds Bush Empire, which reached No. 81 in Germany.

For more than 15 years he has set stages alight around the world with an exceptional show, ever more powerful and ever more controlled. A genuine artistic rebirth.
