The Mondial de l'Auto is the Paris motor show. It is held every other year at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, and the 2026 edition is open to the public from Tuesday 13 to Sunday 18 October. Monday 12 October is reserved for accredited press: don't go that day, the doors will be closed to visitors.

Under the banner "Let's celebrate!", this edition sets out to celebrate car culture in the broadest sense: the carmakers' new models, of course, but also demonstrations, activities and a series of talks on the future of the car (artificial intelligence, software-defined vehicles, new forms of mobility). The show spreads across several halls of the exhibition centre (4, 5.1, 5.2/3, 6 and 7.1).

Dates and opening hours

The Mondial is open from Tuesday to Sunday. From Tuesday 13 to Thursday 15 October, doors are open from 9.30am to 8pm. On Friday 16 October the show stays open until 10pm, and on Saturday 17 October from 9am to 10pm: these are the two late openings, with the halls lit up and last entry at 9pm. On Sunday 18 October, the last day, the show closes earlier, at 6.30pm.

To avoid the crowds, go on a weekday morning. Weekends and late openings are the busiest times, but also the most festive.

How much is a ticket?

Buying in advance costs less than at the gate. Online, the full price is €20 on weekdays, €22 at the weekend and €17 for a late opening. Children aged 7 to 17 and students pay €13, as do visitors with a disability or reduced mobility. On site, the single price rises to €22 on weekdays and for late openings, and €24 at the weekend.

Fnac Spectacles sells weekday and weekend tickets at the official prices. Booking online also saves you the ticket-desk queue: visitors without a ticket go through a separate entrance outside the exhibition centre, by hall 7.

Getting there

Paris Expo Porte de Versailles is at 1 place de la Porte de Versailles, in the 15th arrondissement. Visitors arriving by public transport are asked to use gate A2.

By metro, line 12 serves Porte de Versailles station (exit avenue Ernest Renan). Line 8 stops at Balard, a few minutes' walk away. By tram, line T3a serves Porte de Versailles and Balard. Bus 80 also stops at Porte de Versailles. There is a Vélib' bike station in front of the exhibition centre, and a drop-off zone for taxis and ride-hailing cars on avenue Ernest Renan.

By car, the exhibition centre has car parks, but they fill up fast on busy days: public transport is the easiest option.

Tips for your visit

Allow at least half a day to go round the halls, and a full day if you want to catch the demonstrations and talks. Wear comfortable shoes: the distances between halls are long. If you come as a family, €13 tickets for 7 to 17-year-olds make the outing far more affordable, and weekday mornings are calmer for children.

The Mondial only takes place every other year: after 2026, the next edition is not expected before 2028. For car lovers, this is not one to miss.
