by Frédéric Guy After the summer break, the MAP Galerie & Librairie Photographique presents a series created by Frédéric Guy using his Polaroid: a wandering journey between sea and still life, between silhouettes and diptychs, where blue returns again and again — the blue of the Mediterranean, the blue of cast shadows, a blue that responds to the yellow of the sun like a breath.

Each image seeks to evoke rather than describe: the vibration of a colour, the grace of a suspended moment, the quiet beauty of everyday life bathed in light. In times of crisis as in calm weather, the sun remains the address of happiness.

Like an antidote to bitterness, a cure for melancholy, a light held fast against dark days. We look forward to welcoming you!
