Paris Games Week is France's video game event. For its 15th edition it takes over Paris Expo Porte de Versailles from Thursday 22 to Sunday 25 October 2026, with a format called the "Playground Edition": redesigned spaces, a new programme and a show designed to be played from start to finish.

What is the "Playground Edition"?

This year, visitors are at the heart of the experience. With the show's official app, everyone can follow a trail, take on challenges, unlock collectible badges and win rewards while exploring the stands and activities. The organisers are also announcing "off-site" partnerships, so the show spills beyond Porte de Versailles.

As every year, Paris Games Week brings together publishers, console and hardware makers, content creators and gaming communities. It is a chance to try games before they come out, watch competitions and meet other players.

Dates and opening hours

The show is open to the public for four days, from Thursday 22 to Sunday 25 October 2026, every day from 9.30am to 7pm. The weekdays (Thursday and Friday, during the French autumn school holidays) are usually a little less crowded than the weekend.

Which ticket should I choose?

There is a one-day dated ticket, valid on the day you choose, and an "open" two-day pass that lets you pick your two days. On Fnac Spectacles, the one-day ticket starts at €20 and the two-day pass at €34. Trade visitors have their own "PGW Business" ticket.

Demand is high every year: booking ahead is the best way to be sure of getting in on the day you want, especially on Saturday and Sunday.

Getting there

Paris Expo Porte de Versailles is at 1 place de la Porte de Versailles, in the 15th arrondissement. By metro, line 12 serves Porte de Versailles station and line 8 Balard station. By tram, line T3a stops at Balard and Porte de Versailles. Bus 80 serves Porte de Versailles, and there is a Vélib' bike station on avenue Ernest Renan.

By car, several car parks serve the exhibition centre, including one at 2 rue d'Oradour-sur-Glane (Paris 15th) and one on rue Marcel Yol in Vanves. On busy days, public transport is simpler.

Our tips

Install the official app before you come: it drives this edition's trail, with its challenges and badges. Arrive early if you are after the most awaited demos, where queues build quickly. Bring a way to charge your phone, and a bottle of water: it is easy to spend the whole day on your feet between stands.
