Philippe Lavil - Sous le Même Soleil

Since his debuts in the 1970s, Philippe Lavil has built a popular repertoire, driven by a unique identity: that of a warm French variété, tinged with the colours and rhythms of his native Antilles. Who has never sung "Il tape sur des bambous", "Elle préfère l'amour en mer" or, indeed, "Kolé Séré", the duet that became a cult hit with Jocelyne of the group Kassav'? Songs that stand the test of time without a single wrinkle and that still get people dancing!

Today, Philippe wants to rediscover the closeness that has always been at the heart of his relationship with the audience. On stage, surrounded by talented musicians, he revisits his greatest successes in an acoustic, simple and authentic format. A different way of hearing these songs that we know by heart, of rediscovering their melodies, their stories and their emotion.

On 18 December at the Théâtre de la Tour Eiffel, Philippe Lavil invites you to an evening of sharing, memories and good humour. A suspended moment, warm and generous, like an invitation to travel under the sun of the Antilles.
