Saint Levant - Afandi World Tour

Marwan Abdelhamid, better known as Saint Levant, was born in Jerusalem during the Second Intifada to a Franco-Algerian mother and a Serbian-Palestinian father. He spent seven formative years of his childhood in Gaza, an experience that would later inspire his first EP, From Gaza, With Love.

Drawing on his roots, Saint Levant blends the sounds of traditional Arab music with R&B and hip-hop. He celebrates the richness of his cultural heritage, the diversity of the Arab community around the world, and the Palestinian cause. Written in Arabic, English and French, his songs appeal to an international audience thanks to their universal reach.

This approach culminated in DEIRA, his first album, a project that laid the emotional and sonic foundations of his artistic universe. Released on Valentine's Day, Love Letters / رسائل حب marked a turning point in his artistic evolution. The project explores different facets of his world — triumphant, introspective, hopeful and deeply sincere — through a side A rooted in Arab and North African musical traditions, and a side B inspired by Western funk of the 1980s and contemporary pop.

Buoyed by the project's success, Saint Levant expanded it with Love Letters / رسائل حب (Deluxe), which brings together collaborations with Fares Sokar, NORDO and Babylone, further cementing his place among artists who move with ease between cultures, territories and musical genres.

The album AFANDI opens a new chapter under the sign of timeless elegance. Inspired by the natural charisma of Arab icons such as George Wassouf and Kadim Al Saher, the project reinvents the figure of the "afandi", a man who is elegant, impeccably dressed and self-assured without ostentation, for a new generation.
