The Salon du Chocolat et de la Pâtisserie returns to Paris from Wednesday 28 October to Sunday 1 November 2026, in hall 5 of Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. It bills itself as the biggest chocolate event in the world, and it is one of the must-do treats of the Paris autumn, right in the middle of the French half-term holidays.

What is there to see?

The show brings together chocolate makers, pastry chefs and big-name houses around cocoa in all its forms. On the programme: tastings of fine single-origin chocolates, masterclasses and demonstrations by leading chefs, pastry workshops for children and adults, exhibitions, and the famous musical show with outfits made of chocolate. People come to taste, to learn, and to leave with a few bars.

Dates and opening hours

The show is open every day from 10am to 7pm, from Wednesday 28 October to Sunday 1 November 2026. It is preceded by an opening night on Tuesday 27 October, from 7pm to 10pm, with a separate ticket.

"Weekday" tickets are valid from 28 to 30 October; "weekend" tickets give access on Saturday 31 October or Sunday 1 November. Each ticket is for one person and one day of your choice within its period.

How much does it cost?

An adult ticket costs €16 on weekdays and €20 at the weekend. Students and visitors with reduced mobility (with proof) pay €14 on weekdays and €17 at the weekend. A child ticket is €8 on weekdays and €10 at the weekend, and entry is free for under-6s. For families, a family ticket for two adults and two children costs €45 on weekdays and €56 at the weekend.

Two more options complete the list: a "late afternoon" ticket, giving access between 5pm and 7pm for €10 (€5 for a child), and a dated Gold Pass with exclusive perks, at €40 on weekdays and €45 at the weekend. The opening night on 27 October costs €30 for an adult and €10 for a child.

Getting there

The show is in hall 5 of Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, 1 place de la Porte de Versailles, in the 15th arrondissement. By metro, line 12 serves Porte de Versailles station and line 8 Balard station. By tram, line T3a stops at Porte de Versailles and Balard, and bus 80 also serves Porte de Versailles. Access is provided for visitors with reduced mobility.

Good to know

A cloakroom is available at €2 per item, but it only takes coats, jackets and helmets: for security reasons, suitcases and bags are not accepted. So travel light, especially if you plan to leave laden with chocolate.

The show falls during the French half-term holidays and the weekend draws the biggest crowds. If you only have two hours to spare, the late afternoon ticket is a good deal.
