With his second album Are We Gonna Sing?, Sam Tompkins signs his most ambitious, personal and accomplished project to date. Recorded largely live, the album favors organic production, carried by live-played instruments and vocals intentionally lightly touched. The project was born from his meeting with London artist and producer Humble the Great, with whom he notably created "Beauty Queen", an upbeat, guitar-driven track that quickly became the sonic starting point of the album.
